SunCubes heads to CES in Las Vegas

20 gen 2026

Insights and takeaways from the world’s leading global technology stage

Participation in the CES marked a significant step for SunCubes, positioning the company and its technology within the world’s most influential global platform for innovation. Widely recognized as the leading international stage for technology, CES is where emerging solutions are evaluated against global benchmarks and where industry, investment, and research converge.

Participation in CES represents a strategic opportunity to engage with the global technology ecosystem. As a reference point for technological advancement, the event plays a central role in shaping trends, fostering dialogue between key stakeholders, and accelerating the transition of innovation from research environments to real-world applications.

Over four intensive days, SunCubes presented its long-range wireless laser charging technology, systems designed to safely transfer energy to drones and remote sensors, even in extreme environments. By enabling extended autonomous operations, this approach reduces dependence on batteries and traditional infrastructure, addressing critical challenges in remote, industrial, and mission-critical scenarios.

Beyond the exhibition floor, CES provided a valuable context for exchange and validation. Discussions with investors, multinational corporations, and industrial partners offered concrete feedback on the technology’s maturity and relevance, contributing to a clearer understanding of market expectations and potential application domains. These interactions also opened perspectives for future growth, including possible expansion into the United States.

Thanks to the collaboration with ITA - Italian Trade Agency, SunCubes had the opportunity to pitch in front of CES investors on one of the world’s most prominent technology stages. This occasion enabled direct engagement with the global investment community in a highly competitive international setting, reinforcing the visibility of Italian deeptech innovation at a global level.

Commenting on the experience, the company’s CEO noted, Alberto Chiozzi:

“CES highlighted Power Beaming as a key enabler for the next generation of electrification and connectivity, providing the essential foundation for sustainable infrastructure growth."

SunCubes also received the swisstech Choice Award during the Global Deep Tech Battle organized by Swisstech, which includes access to a three-month acceleration program.

The CES experience resulted in new professional connections, practical insights, and a clearer path toward real-world deployment.
